I told Eli 3.9 today that I had printed out a craft project that we could do together for Mother's Day. Then I told him not to tell his mom, because it was going to be a surprise. So he immediately sprints into her study and shouts "Mommy! Mommy! Guess what we're making you for Mother's Day? A CRAB PROJECT!"

"Little dude, it's not a "crab" project. It's a "craft" project," I said.
"That's a relief," Gloria said.
"We're going to get you a picture of a CRAB," he said.

This went on for about five minutes. No matter how many times I said "craft," he had "crab" stuck in his head.

So what am I doing now? Looking for pictures of crabs, of course. Hey, a good idea is a good idea.
