Deacon Jones (addendum)
I had forgotten--until I heard it on the radio yesterday--that Deacon Jones was the reason the NFL outlawed the head slap.He also played in a band and had a minor acting career. All in all, a very accomplished fellow. And a mortal enemy of quarterbacks.
