Invention & Technology

I've mentioned the magazine American Heritage of Invention & Technology a few times in the past, but I'm going to do it once more, because the Spring 2005 issue is just fantastic. Long, richly detailed articles on the invention of artificial turf, high g-force pressure suits for flyers, microwave ovens, and my favorite: Civil War submarine technology.

For people who like science and invention, this is the best magazine published today. Even articles on seemingly minor subjects are so well-written and thorough that they're fascinating.

This magazine comes out quarterly. I'm sure Barnes & Nobles and Borders probably carry it, and I saw a copy at Fry's this week as well.
