Pure Genius

Someone who is both crazy and utterly inspired has recreated the 10th inning of game six of the infamous Boston Red Sox-New York Mets 1986 World Series.

In RBI Baseball.

That's right--a real game recreated in a video game. To the pitch. And even better, Vin Scully's call of that game is also used. The effect is pretty amazing.

Two things I'd forgotten about that game: the Mets had already tied the score before Buckner booted the grounder, and Mookie Wilson had an absolutely amazing at bat before he hit the ball to Buckner. That was a ten-pitch at bat, and he fouled off pitch after pitch with two strikes.
