I'll be a Little Late for Band Practice: I'm Editing My Film

It's a seven minute fantasy movie--made by a SEVENTEEN-year old. His name is Tyson Ibele, in case you're wondering.
If you want to get a grasp of just how much technology has been democratized in the last twenty-five years, just take a look at the movie. He apparently used Adobe Premiere and 3DS Max, and with access to the technology, it no longer matters who he knows or where he works or what he's done in the past.
Which is very cool.
