The Telecrapper 2000
Thanks to Engadget for highlighting one of the funniest ideas I've ever heard in my life. Here's a description (via Engadget and available athttp://www.pagerealm.com/tc2k/):
The Telecrapper 2000 (TC2K) is a computerized system designed to both intercept incoming Telemarketing calls on the first ring, and then carry on a virtual conversation with the telemarketer.
It's brilliant, and there's also a Flash recording of an actual phone call that is just hilarious. Here it is:
