Retro Gaming Hacks

Retro Gaming Hacks is a terrific read, and if you're interested in emulation or playing "vintage" games, it's extremely thorough--damn near comprehensive, really. Chris Kohler covers almost every gaming system (missing only the Amiga 500, which was one of my favorites) and every emulation method. There's a ton of helpful information, and if you've ever had any questions about the emulation scene, it's a great place to look.

I can't stress enough how much information is packed into this book. It's amazing, really: arcade machines, consoles, text adventures, DOS, Mame, and almost every freaking emulator I've ever heard of, all with detailed information and instructions. Here's an Amazon link:
