The Escapist: Issue 100

If you've never read The Escapist, you've now officially missed out on 100 issues of the most interesting gaming writing on the Web. The amount of excellent content they put out on a weekly basis is staggering--there's far more interesting writing in one weekly issue than in any of the U.S. print magazines that cover gaming on a monthly basis. It's interesting and quirky and sometimes a bit off-center, and there's just not nearly enough of that anymore.

So if you've just emerged from suspended animation after a decades-long voyage through deep space, for example, take a look here to see what you've been missing (the current issue tab takes you to the magazine).

By the way, Russ Pitts, who is Associate Editor (and a damn fine writer in his own right), wrote many excellent articles for Gamers With Jobs, which has turned out to be an incredible talent pipeline. I don't mention Gamers With Jobs as often anymore, because they are so routinely excellent that I assume everyone reads them already, but they are the repository of both a tremendous amount of writing talent as well as a remarkably funny and nice bunch of people in their forum community.
