N'Gai Croal has written what I think is one of his best pieces ever at Level Up. It's titled (in typical Level Up style) "Now Who's Being Naive, Kay? Or, Reflections on the Fundamental Contempt In Which the Enthusiast Press Is Held By Publishers--And Its Own Employers."The column explores the Gamespot/Gerstmann debacle, but it goes much deeper than that. It's a tremendously coherent, thoughtful piece of writing, and it's well worth your time. Read it here.
