A Holiday Collaboration

You may remember my favorite Christmas decoration: Rudolph the Headless Reindeer. I saved it from the trash one year, and it has been placed in a position of holiday honor ever since.

This year, Eli 11.4 and I decided that Rudolph deserved his own song, so we wrote one together on the way to Krispy Kreme.

That's Rudolph in the foreground, sans head.

Here's the special holiday song (please, sing along):
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Never seemed to have a head
And if you ever saw him
You might even think he's dead

All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
It didn't bother Rudolph
Words can't hurt you when you're maimed

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa, dressed in red
Looking through a storage room, said
"Hey, I found a head!"

Now all the reindeer love him
Though it's true a few have said
"He really was much nicer
When he didn't have a head."
