The Best Thing That Will Happen To Me Today
I always try to walk into "the gardens" right at 9 a.m., when they open. The cafeteria is usually totally deserted for at least the first hour, which is an excellent writing environment.Today, I walked past the welcome desk, computer bag slung over my shoulder, and a woman said, "Morning, Wally."
"Morning," I said. Of course I didn't correct her.
I pray I'm asked to attend a meeting someday.
