Placebo
I wondered the other day if anyone had ever studied the placebo effect--with great apes.It's been established that the effect exists with other animals (see this: the placebo effect in animals), but it's never been studied in the great apes (other than humans). Gorillas are so intelligent that it would be fascinating to find out whether they also benefit from placebos. I don't even know what it would lead to, but I'd like to know.
I'd also like to see how effective placebos are with AI, which is such a weird scenario I don't even know how you could test it.
