Pirates!
Somewhat lost in the Half-Life 2 hubbub yesterday was the news that Sid Meier's Pirates! has gone gold and is shipping on November 22.I expect little or no innovation from the first Pirates, given that Sid Meier is generally highly derivative of Sid Meier. This time, though, that's a good thing--we don't have to worry about the game getting mucked up by a radical redesign or anything like that.
