On Fuddrucker and Firsts

From DQ reader Brendan Power:
If anything, Fuddrucker's is a Red Robin knockoff - as a Pacific Northwesterner, I can assure you that the Robin's been around since the 40s. It started off campus at my alma mater, the UW, just outside the reach of the state's blue law which prevented alcohol sales within a mile of campus. I recognize that Fuddrucker's is a Texas-based chain, but the Robin was my one-stop-shop for free fry and drink refills throughout my college career. The original has the most godawful parking lot I've ever seen; it's like a 60 degree angle sloping into beautiful Portage Bay.
