Speedball 2 to XBLA
This is great news. From Gamasutra:Empire Interactive has announced that it will also be converting the Bitmap Brothers' Amiga classic Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe.
Empire promises the Xbox Live Arcade version will be a "perfect conversion" the original, with new high definition graphics, more teams, new downloadable content, and, of course, multiplayer over Xbox Live.
I played Speedball 2 on the Amiga, and it was sensational--the best futuristic sports game I've ever played. I can't believe we're going to get a chance to play it again. With multiplayer!
