A rare bit of national good news: The Onion launches new bid to take control of Alex Jones' Infowars.
The Onion plans on running it as its own little world of comic conspiracies, in a parallel universe to Jones' own madness (which will continue on his X feed and AM radio, apparently).
A judge could still refuse this offer, but everyone involved seems to agree on the deal.
This is good news because people like Jones need to be mocked, and on a regular basis. Taking over his own website is such a perfect comeuppance from a karmic standpoint.
I'm still baffled as to how he didn't get a Cabinet position. He's no less qualified than the stunning parade of losers who did.
