October Releases
After a thoroughly lousy September, the traditionally huge October release period has arrived. Here's a look at some of the more prominent games.This week (Oct 17-23): F.E.A.R., Age of Empires III, Quake 4. Also, Shadow of the Colossus for PS2 and Blitz: the League (Xbox, PS2) will be out this week as well.
Next week (Oct 24-30): Civ IV, Call of Duty 2, Vietcong 2, X3 The Reunion, City of Villains.
That's not a great October by historical measures, but it's certainly better than what we've had the last month. I don't have a good feel on which fall release will be a sleeper hit, but I have heard a few good things about Sniper Elite.
