Civ IV Impressions
You guys are sending me a ton of e-mail asking for Civ IV impressions.Here are my extended Civ IV impressions: Shadow of the Colossus.
As much as I want to play Civ IV, I started Shadow of the Colossus and I'm totally engaged until it's finished. Fumita Ueda has some kind of direct link into my brain. It happened with Ico and it's happening with this game.
That's not to say that Shadow isn't rough around the edges. It's very rough, actually--lousy cameras, a few funky design decisions--but the best moments are some of the finest moments I've ever had in gaming.
I think I've only got a few hours, left, though, and after that it's going to Civ IV.
