Links!

Tons of great links from you guys this week--thanks.

First, from DQ reader Mat Williams, a link to a thought-provoking article over at Edge. They pose a question of the year, ask the best and brightest (man, that is the lamest sounding phrase I've used in months--I hope), and compile the results. Here's this year's question:
The history of science is replete with discoveries that were considered socially, morally, or emotionally dangerous in their time; the Copernican and Darwinian revolutions are the most obvious. What is your dangerous idea? An idea you think about (not necessarily one you originated) that is dangerous not because it is assumed to be false, but because it might be true?

Great question, and the answers are extremely interesting. Here's the link--just scroll down until you reach Harvard University psychologist Howard Gardner. That's where the answers begin.

Next, from Francis Cermak, a link to an outstanding PC Gamer UK article about Korean gaming culture. It's a great read.

Matthew Sakey has a new column up for his monthly "Culture Clash" over at the IGDA website and you can find it here:

Finally, from DQ reader Sirius, a link to another expose by the same fellow who blew the lid on the Sony DRM quagmire. The new post is titled "The Antispyware Conspiracy," and it features the same meticulous, thorough research that was used in the Sony article. You can find it here:
