Take-Two Buys Irrational Games

It's being reported today that Take-Two has purchased Irrational Games. Here's an excerpt from an article on Gamasutra
(http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=7721):
According to unconfirmed reports from employees of developer Irrational Games, the company has been acquired by U.S. publisher Take-Two Interactive. The two companies have already been working in close conjunction, with Take-Two registering the trademark for and agreeing to publish Irrational’s forthcoming game BioShock.

Most of you already know this, but Irrational developed System Shock 2 as well as the Freedom Force series. They're also currently working on BioShock, which is supposed to be the "spiritual successor" to the System Shock series.

I give Take-Two all kinds of grief for their financial shenanigans, but when it comes to acquisitions, they're still consistently acquiring high-quality developers, and they have a ton of games in the pipeline that are on my must-have list.
