Links!
Here are some interesting links to wreak havoc on your productivity. From Sirius, one of the most inspired, funny videos I've ever seen. It's a recreation of the Bellaggio Fountains in Las Vegas--using only two-liter bottles of Diet Coke and Mentos mints. Totally, totally inspired. Sheer genius, and you can watch it here. Oh, and if you need further incentive to watch the video, those bottles of Diet Coke spray up to twenty-five feet.
From Don Barree, a link to pictures from the Harrison Hot Springs (near Vancouver) World Championship Sand Sculpture contest. These sand sculpures are just freaking amazing, and you can see them here.
Here's something I didn't even know existed: a water bridge over a river. What? That's what I thought, too, but thanks to Sirius, here's a picture.
Finally, from Mark, a link to an amazing news story: midgets from a Cambodian fighting league taking on a lion--and losing badly. Here's the link.
That story's a fake, by the way, but it's hilariously well done. It has that bizarre yet somehow minutely plausible sound to it.
