The PA Effect
Tycho linked to my Fallout 3 impressions on Monday in his news post.I've heard about the "Penny Arcade Effect" before, and since Blogspot can handle the traffic, I thought this would be an interesting test case.
If "X" represents my regular number of visitors during the week, here's what this week has looked like:
Monday--9X
Tuesday--3X
Wednesday--1.5X
Today, traffic's almost back to normal.
In comparison, being linked on Digg last year resulted in a 4X bounce on the first day.
