Copy Protection Database
I mentioned earlier this week that we needed a resource to tell us what kind of copy protection was being used on specific PC games. Reader Kirk Sabre e-mailed and let me know that such a resource does exist over at the Daemon Tools website, and you can take a look here.Certain forms of copy protection, like Starforce, are purchase-breakers for me. Now I'll be able to quickly find out what protection method a game is using.
